# Nuki

> Connect Nuki doors and manage guest access

## Connect and assign doors

Open **Settings > Integrations**, add **Nuki**, and select **Connect Nuki**. Authorize your Nuki account, then open **Smart devices** to assign each door to a property. Live connection requires an approved Nuki Advanced API application configured by your Trellis administrator.

## Manage access

From Smart devices, control supported locks, create or edit permanent and scheduled PINs, and assign reusable access users or lock groups. Nuki PINs must contain exactly six digits from 1 to 9 and cannot start with 12. PINs require a paired keypad. Openers and Boxes support opening; they do not report a locked/unlocked state or provide keypad PINs.

Enable **Automatic guest access** in Nuki settings and on the selected property doors. It applies to stays arriving from tomorrow. A reservation shares one PIN across its enabled Nuki keypad doors. Date changes update the access window; cancellation or disabling access queues revocation. The property time zone is required. Use one provider for automatic access at each property.

## Confirm and disconnect

Pending means Nuki has accepted the request but has not confirmed it on the device. The Guest Portal shows confirmed PINs under its registration and access rules. Remote opening is available only during the access window and while the entrance is online. Battery, connectivity and access activity appear in device history.

Reconnect with the same account to preserve mappings. Disconnect revokes Trellis-managed PINs before removing the connection; unrelated Nuki codes remain unchanged. Restore connectivity if revocation stays pending. An uncertain create request is checked before another code is submitted. Contact support if it cannot be resolved. Account authorization and hardware testing are still required before live use.
