# Claude / Codex Connection

## Video recap

This recording demonstrates the Claude Cowork connection to Trellis. It does not walk through a separate Codex setup.

### Find the connection details

Open Settings, then Developer, and select the Claude Cowork connection. The setup provides the server URL and authorization details needed for the connector.

### Add Trellis in Claude

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector named Trellis. Enter the connection details and complete the connection confirmation when prompted.

### Choose tool permissions

After connecting, review the available Trellis tools and choose whether actions need approval. The recording demonstrates changing permissions; select the permissions appropriate for the work you want Claude to perform.
