Connect and map doors

Open Settings > Integrations, add RemoteLock, then select Connect RemoteLock. Sign in to RemoteLock and authorize Trellis. You do not need to create an OAuth application. If connection is unavailable, contact your Trellis administrator. Select Sync devices to import device names, types, IDs and locations. Choose a property for each supported door and save. New devices have automatic guest access turned off. Enable it only for approved doors. A property can use one provider for automatic guest access.

Guest PIN lifecycle

After you enable access, new confirmed reservations receive a PIN generated by RemoteLock before arrival. Existing reservations are not imported automatically. Date changes update the same guest and preserve the PIN. A property change removes the old door assignments before adding the new ones. Cancellation and the end of the access window deactivate the guest.

Check synchronization

Pending means installation is not confirmed on every approved door. Ready means RemoteLock reports all assignments synchronized. Failed needs attention. Revoked means the guest has been deactivated. An offline door can remain pending. The Guest Portal displays only ready PINs, subject to its registration and access rules. Creating a PIN alone does not make it ready.

Reconnect and troubleshoot

Use Reconnect with the same account to keep mappings and access records. A different account is rejected. Disconnect and revoke access keeps the connection credentials until outstanding revocations finish. Restore the connection if revocation cannot complete. For failures, check the connection, door mapping, automatic access settings and property time zone, then retry synchronization. Doors in different time zones that require different local access windows cannot share a guest. If a creation result remains uncertain, contact Trellis support rather than creating another guest. This integration does not provide physical lock commands, offline/ResortLock PINs, door groups or recurring schedules. Device testing and partner certification are separate from connecting an account.
